Beberapa bulan lalu, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion diskon lumayan besar di Lazada. Lumayan lho diskonnya, dari harga awal sekitar 480rb jadi cuma sekitar 380rb aja.
Awalnya si sempet ragu juga, "beli ga ya, beli ga yaaa..." mengingat dulu pernah pakai produk sejenis yaitu Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion dan kulit wajah jadi break out berat. Tapi setelah baca review sana-sini dan banyak yang bilang kalau formula Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini lembut banget dan selalu jadi Editor's favorite (dan karena emang pada dasarnya udah mupeng dari dulu sama BB Cushion punya Laneige ini juga si..) akhirnya diputuskanlah untuk membeli :D

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini di packing dalam kardus kotak berwarna dominan silver dan hitam. Dibagian atas kotaknya tertulis informasi shadenya dan di bagian samping kotaknya tertulis ingredients lengkapnya. Nah, yang bikin aku surprise waktu buka kotaknya adalah ternyata di dalam kotaknya ga cuma ada 1 compact Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion, tapi ada refill BB Cushionnya juga. Jadi ternyata Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini sudah dijual dalam 1 paket lengkap dan kalau dihitung malah jadi lebih hemat dan juga praktis, karena kalau habis kita tinggal copot aja BB cushion nya dan diganti sama refill nya. What a convenient! :D

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion mempunyai 4 shade warna, yaitu:

#13 True Beige : The beige color with pink tone for clean and clear skin tone
#21 Natural Beige : The calm natural beige for chic and natural skin tone
#23 Sand Beige : The sand beige for healthy and natural skin tone for tanned skin
#31 Brown Beige : The brown beige for naturally healthy skin tone for darker skin

Dan Karena aku belinya online dan ga bisa nyoba-nyoba shade aku pilih shade #21 Natural Beige dengan pertimbangan supaya warnanya dikulitku jatuhnya tetep natural, ga keputih ataupun terlalu gelap. Sayang banget kan kalo udah beli mahal2 tapi pas dipake malah bikin wajah jadi kelihatan kaya topeng, hehehe.. Berikut penampakan shade nya:

kalau di oles ke punggung tanganku, shadenya tidak terlihat kontras dengan warna kulit asliku, tapi somehow kalau dipakai di wajah shadenya jadi terlihat lebih terang.

Bentuk compat Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion sendiri jauh banyak sama dengan compact cushion yang lain. Bulat, kecil, tidak terlalu tipis, atau malah cenderung agak bulky, dan mudah dibawa kemana-mana. Didalamnya ada cerminnya juga untuk memudahkan kita mengaplikasikan BB cushion ini dimanapun aja.
Sponge aplikator nya pun sama seperti sponge aplikator BB Cushion milik Etude House, sponge puff biru dengan bahan campuran Rubycell dan Polyurethane yang memungkinkan agar cairan BB Cream nya tidak terlalu habis terserap oleh busa puff aplikatornya.

Dan seperti BB Cushion yang lain, Cushion pada Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion juga berbentuk bantalan dengan lubang-lubang kecil seperti sarang lebah. Disini adalah tempat penyimpanan BB cream nya, yang dimana jika bantalan ini ditekan pakai jari atau sponge puff aplikatornya, liquid BB cream nya akan langsung menempel Dan tinggal kamu tepuk-tepuk aja deh di wajah.

Yang aku suka dari jenis BB Cushion seperti ini adalah BB Cushion jenis seperti ini bener-bener praktis dibawa kemana-mana tanpa takut bakal ada cairan BB yang tumpah atau bleber kemana-mana. Udah gitu, juga ga bakal ada kasus kebanyakan ngambil BB cream lagi. Tapi yang aku kurang suka adalah, kalau BB Cream nya sudah mau habis suka ga ketahuan.

Selama 3 bulan aku pakai Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini bisa dibilang aku jatuh cinta berat sama BB Cushion yang satu ini dan BB Cushion ini sekarang sering banget aku pakai kemana aja. Kenapa?

1. Nggak bikin kulitku break out! Yey!
Sebagus-bagusnya produk yang kita pakai di wajah kalau bikin kulit jadi break out parah dan jerawatan tetep aja jadi ga bagus dong. Kabar gembiranya, investasiku di Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion kali ini ga sia-sia. Sesuai dengan review yang aku baca, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini formulanya lembut dan cocok untuk kulitku yang sensitif dan gampang break out. selain itu, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini ga cuma bikin kulitku ga break out tapi juga malah bikin kulitku lembab. Tapi walau begitu, jika Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion diaplikasi pada kulit yang agak kering, sebaiknya selalu gunakan pelembab terlebih dahulu, karena kalau aku perhatikan jika dipakai tanpa pelembab, kulit-kulit kering di wajah yang tertumpuk oleh Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion akan terlihat dan membuat warna kulit menjadi sedikit tidak rata seperti ada bercak-bercak putih pada permukaan kulit.

2. Memberikan efek putih natural pada kulitku
ketika di aplikasikan, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion memberikan dewy efect pada kulit wajah. Kulit wajah jadi terlihat glowing seperti banyaknya kulit para artis korea. Selain itu juga membuat kulitku terlihat lebih bersih, putih natural dan tidak pucat dan somehow seperti ada efek meronanya di wajah.

Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini memiliki coverage medium. seperti yang bisa dilihat di foto di bawah ini, beberapa bekas hitam pada kulit yang tidak terlalu tebal lumayan bisa tertutup oleh Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion, tapi sayangnya untuk bekas hitam yang agak tebal masih tetap memerlukan concealer lagi. Hasilnya untuk menutup pori-pori juga bagus.

Setelah di aplikasikan pada wajah, pori-pori kulit jerukku pada bagian dekat hidung cukup tersamarkan.

Sayangnya, Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion bukan tipe BB Cushion yang non komedogenic, karena kalau aku perhatikan selang beberapa hari aku memakai Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion komedo di kulitku jadi lebih banyak.

3. Wanginya lembut
Aku pribadi kurang suka dengan produk kecantikan yang baunya terlalu kuat. Untungnya Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion ini baunya lembut seperti bau bedak bayi. Jadi ketika dipakai aku tidak terganggu dengan baunya.

4. Kombinasi antara SPF 50, cooling effect, dan waterproof formula
Ketiga kombinasi ini paling pas dan menguntungkan buat aku. Karena aku banyak beraktifitas di luar pada siang hari aku pribadi suka males pakai bedak/BB Cream karena selain panas juga suka luntur. Bagusnya Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion, ketika di pakai produk ini memberikan cooling effect, jadi di muka tetep berasa adem dan enggak sumuk alias gerah. Udah gitu waterproof juga, jadi walau kena keringatpun tidak terlihat luntur. Dan yang terakhir SPF 50 nya bener-bener perfect untuk melindungi kulitku dari efek buruk sinas matahari.

The first time I heard about Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur I was really intrigued by the idea of what this product could do for my skin.
As described by Etude House, Beauty Shot Face Blur creates a "multi-blurring effect" to the skin. So, what exactly is this "multi-blurring effect" about? That's where I got very curious.

The theme color for this product is salem. From the box to the bottle and even the cream itself is salem colored. This product comes in a pump and YES, I love pump packaging because they're clearly more hygienic and it's easier to control the amount of cream that I want to apply.

Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur comes with SPF 15/PA+ and as written on the box, the purpose of this product is to give three effects to the skin. Smoothing, pore hiding, and tone up. First, It will make it so that the skin texture will appear soft and smooth. Second, it will make uneven skin and pores less visible, or in this case to "look blurred". And finally, it will help brighten the skin tone.
The end goal of this product is supposedly to make your skin to look like it has been photoshoped - and who doesn't want to have Photoshoped skin in real life, right? :D

The cream's texture is lightweight and not oily at all, and it smells like baby powder. Once the cream is even on the skin, it gives a pearly finish. And yes it does tone up my skin color as you can see in the picture below as I applied it on the back of my hand and my face:

The product itself is supposed to be used as primer, after the moisturizer and before foundation and makeup. However, often times I'd find that just applying compact powder after using the Beauty Shot Face Blur was already good enough to cover all my skin imperfection. When I applied it on my face it got absorbed really quickly and it left my skin feeling smoother. And what I like the most about this product that it doesn't make the skin feel sticky.

So does this product really work as well as promised? Well, you can judge it yourself from the comparison below:

I circled all my skin imperfections and as you can see from the picture above, before I used Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur all my pores looked so obvious. But after I applied the cream, my pores look like they'd been blurred. It even blurred my milia and I swear I haven't touched the photo at all! It also gives a dewy look to my face. The only thing that I don't like about this product is that it kind of makes my skin look a bit pale. Other beauty bloggers have said that it's best to combine this product with cushion foundation, but it's too bad I haven't found the best cushion foundation that works well on my skin yet.

I was so excited the first time I saw Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion. I mean, the idea of a cushion foundation is so unique that I became really quite curious. Nowadays, a cushion foundation is so popular in South Korea that most of the Korean brands will provide foundation products in that form.

So, just what is a cushion foundation anyway?

A Cushion foundation is basically a liquid foundation that is soaked in a cushion or porous sponge with dual air puffs. The purpose of this product is to eliminate the need for make-up tools such as brushes and sponges when applying a foundation. The main selling point, obviously, is that foundation application will become much simpler and easier to carry around.

Just like any other cushion foundation brands, Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion packaging comes with a small white portable compact (that can be refilled), a small mirror and a washable air puff sponge which is placed on the plastic separator above the cushion in order to prevent the cushion from absorbing the foundation. I chose the W13 Natural Beige

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion claims to contain a 6in1 multifunction formula good for: UV protection with SPF 50+/PA, moisture lock, whitening, wrinkle control, sebum control and skin color correction.

Using this product is very simple. You just need to coat the puff with the content and then apply it starting from larger areas to narrower areas of your face. To be more specific, you can read the instructions below:

This cushion foundation has got a light flora scent which smells SO GOOD! When I applied it on my face it had this pearly and dewy finish. It's got a medium coverage so you will still need a concealer to cover your dark circles. The coverage is also buildable, but in my personal opinion if you go more than one layer, this cushion foundation will look kind of cakey on your face. The texture of this cushion foundation also felt a bit sticky on my face.

I actually really like the finished look of this cushion foundation on my face but unfortunately after 3 days of using it caused an acne break out on my skin, which started all over my forehead. Moreover, I have oily skin so after a couple of hours of using it in a non air-con environment this cushion foundation made my face look glossy and dull.

CONCLUSION:
Pros:
- It's got 6in1 multifunction formula
- It smells awesome
- It gives a pearly and dewy finished look which looks really fresh on the camera
- The dual air puff works great in applying this foundation

Cons:
- It only comes in 3 shades which is only suitable for people with lighter skin
- at the end of the day spent outdoors or in a non air-conditioned environment, your skin will end up looking dull, especially if you have oily skin.
- It actually caused my oily and sensitive skin to break out in acne
- It's pricey

To be honest, what made me decide to buy Revlon ColorStay Foundation is because of its great reviews that I read floating around the internet. When I searched for "the best foundation" on google, the name Revlon ColorStay was on most of the articles or reviews that I read.

As I mentioned in my previous review, I was not a great fan of foundation. Its texture would either feel too cakey, too oily, or too dry and would exaggerate the dry patches around my nose. However, all that's before I found Revlon ColorStay.

Here I quoted what Revlon ColorStay promised their foundation would do on their website www.Revlon.com:

It's amazing that Revlon ColorStay also provides a wide range of shade selection:

Ivory , Buff , Sand Beige , Nude , Natural Beige , Medium beige , Fresh beige , Golden Beige , Warm Golden , True Beige , Natural Tan ,Early tan , Rich Tan, Golden caramel , Toast , Rich ginger, caramel, cappuccino, mahogany, and mocha.

When it came to choosing the shade, I wanted it to really match my skin tone because I didn't want to look like I'd used Nutella on my face or, the other way around, like a dead zombie. And I was so happy with the shade selection made by the SA, which was Golden Beige.

When I first applied Revlon ColorStay foundation on my face what really impressed me was that this foundation felt so light that I'd sometimes forget that I was wearing foundation. And YES, that was the one feature that I always looked for in a foundation.

Revlon ColorStay doesn't give a shiny finish like Korean brands' do. It's more likely to give a matte finish with a medium coverage and I'd still need concealer to cover my dark circle and spot. It does, however, really make my skin look fresh.

This foundation can also stay on for long hours. I used it for 6-8 hours and it still looked great on my face at the end and didn't give my skin an uneven look.
The picture on the left was me after applying Revlon ColorStay Foundation at 11 AM and the picture on the right was me after 6 hours at 5 PM.

The only question left was: Could it really stay on the skin for 24 hours as claimed by Revlon? Honestly, I didn't end up testing it for 24 hours and I don't think I'll want to do that in the future either. What's the point?

I usually apply foundation with my bare hand, but since this foundation dried pretty quick, I thought it's better to use a makeup sponge for better results.
The price was also pretty reasonable. I bought it for IDR. 125.000 and it came with a pretty decent quantity (30 ml).

The only thing that I didn't like about this foundation was the glass bottle packaging. I have a baby girl at home who likes to play with my stuff and every time she gets close to the ColorStay foundation bottle, I'll become quite jumpy with the fear that she'll break it... Geezz...!! --"

I guess that's my review of Revlon ColorStay foundation. If you are one of those looking for a good foundation for everyday used, I think Revlon ColorStay is worth trying :).

Sejauh ini si saya bukanlah penggemar berat foundation. Untuk urusan alas bedak somehow saya si lebih prefer untuk pakai BB cream atau CC cream, alasannya si saya merasa BB cream dan CC cream itu texture nya lebih ringan dan jatuhnya lebih natural dan halus di wajah.

Sampai suatu hari keluarga besar suami ada rencana bikin foto keluarga besar dan saya memutuskan untuk dandan sendiri. Saya pikir si kalo untuk urusan foto2, cuma pakai BB cream atau CC Cream kayanya kok kurang nampol deh (walau si sepertinya saya juga bakal terlihat kecil di foto keluarga itu secara jumlah orangnya banyak banget, hehehe) dan mulailah saya cari2 foundation.

L'Oreal true match mineral foundation with brush ini Pertama kali saya lihat bulan lalu di M*t*h*r* Dept. Store dan somehow saya langsung naksir berat lihat packagingnya yang super cute ada brush nya. tapi karena harganya agak lumayan mahal (which is IDR. 199.000) saya masih pikir2 lagi sambil cari2 review soal produk ini.

Review tentang produk ini yang saya temukan di internet si bagus2, so far ratingnya bintang 4 deh. Dan akhirnya bulan inipun I decided to give it a try.

Oke.. 1.... 2.... 3.... And GO!!!

L'Oreal true match mineral foundation with brush ini berbentuk bubuk seperti bedak, tapi butir-butirnya tidak sehalus butir-butir bedak.
Ternyata pengaplikasian foundation dengan brush ga semudah yang saya kira. Saya harus make sure foundation yang nyangkut di brush nya ga terlalu banyak, karena kebanyakan sedikit foundationnya agak susah diratainnya sehingga terlihat menggumpal di wajah. Dan tentu saja ternyata agak susah untuk mengaplikasikannya di daerah sekitar sudut2 mata.
Sesaat setelah di aplikasi kan pada wajah, foundation ini kelihatan ga terlalu menyatu dengan warna kulit dan memberi kesan sedikit pucat kusam, tapi setelah didiamkan beberapa saat foundation ini mulai menyatu dengan warna kulit dan asal pengaplikasiaanya ga terlalu tebal warnanya di kulit lumayan terlihat natural. Namun sayangnya, menurut saya si foundation ini ga terlalu berhasil menutup beberapa noda di wajah saya. Beberapa noda masih terlihay malu-malu kucing tuh.. Hehe..
So far saya rasa tekstur foundation inio cukup ringan di wajah dan tidak terkesan tebal dan berat.

PROS
- Packaging nya dengan brush benar2 menarik perhatian
- Brush nya cukup lembut
- Teksturnya ringan
- Hasil akhirnya halus dan tidak berminyak
- Mengandung SPF 19

CONS
- Pengaplikasiaan nya agak sulit terutama untuk daerah sekitar sudut- sudut mata
- Jika saat pengaplikasian foundation terlalu banyak akan menggumpal di wajah dan susah untuk diratakan
- Shade yang saya pilih jatuhnya agak terlalu pucat untuk kulit saya
- Mudah luntur
- Brush nya terasa agak sedikit kasar

So far untuk saya produk ini saya beri rating BINTANG 3

Repurchase? Sepertinya si tidak, hehe...
